£24,000 in legal tender New Tenor Bills of Credit issued pursuant to Feb. 2, 1741/42 Act to replace the entire Dec. 2, 1740 issue due to counterfeits. Same silver equivalent as Dec. 2, 1740 issue. Motto on the Arms changed back to IN TE DOMINE SPERAMVS from IN TE SPERAVI. Engraved & printed by William Claggett, £2,000 from low denomination plate and £22,000 from high denomination plate. Old Tenor and New Tenor equivalents engraved on backs on the basis of four for one. Signers were Jahleel Brenton, John Dexter, John Gardner, Edward Scott, Daniel Updike, & Joseph Whipple.
